Finally on our way.

Our sail trip has started. We have crossed the NorthSea.
Our original plan was to sail to Kirkwall on the Orkneys, but the weather-outlook put us off.
Instead we used "plan B" and sailed straight from Farsund to Inverness.

We departed from Farsund late Monday night (3. June) and had usefull sailing winds for the first 24 hrs. Then wind died down and our Volvo Penta had to do its job.
When reaching the Buzzard oilfield in the UK sector we got some wind back and motorsailed the rest of the way to Inverness.

We are now enjoying the hospitality at Inverness Marina. Nice marina with great facilities.

We will continue into the Caledonia canal at high water, Sunday afternoon and sail off towards Loch Ness on monday.
We have lots of time to see the Scottish coast and are really looking forward to many great places.
